Yocham-Croak

Shelly Elizabeth Croak and Tobin Neal Yocham were united in marriage on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Wickline United Methodist Church, Midwest City. The Rev. Mark Barnett officiated. A reception followed at Oklahoma City Petroleum Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Croak of Midwest City. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Croak of Midwest City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Hudspeth of Atoka.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Yocham of Marshall, and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Pearson of Covington. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Yocham and the late Mr. James E. Cassiday of Marshall. He also is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Max Phelan and the late Mr. Jim Hill of Covington.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose an original gown by Alfred Sung. The ivory satin strapless gown was trimmed with Chantilly lace at the hem of the ball gown skirt. The gown cascades in the back into a cathedral train. Over the gown, the bride wore a jacket of re-embroidered Chantilly lace trimmed in gold thread, seed pearls and sequins. The bride chose a cathedral length veil with a second fingertip veil attached to the vintage lace and Swarovski crystal tiara worn by her mother 44 years ago. She carried a clutch bouquet of purple hydrangea, ivory roses and stephanotis wrapped in ivory ribbon.

Lindsey Croak, niece of the bride, was maid of honor. Sherri Croak, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Pearson, sister-in-law of the groom, Stacy Willard, and Shannon Dinwoodie. Junior bridesmaids were Julie Croak, niece of the bride, and Mallory Craig, cousin of the groom. The attendants wore a dove-colored silk charmeuse full-length dress with crossover bodice and waist sash. They carried clutch bouquets of green mini hydrangea and roses tied with purple ribbon. Chandler Croak, niece of the bride, and Caleigh Sohl, cousin of the groom, served as flowergirls.

Nathan Pearson, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Jon Pearson, brother of the groom, Dave Johnson, Tyson Davis, John Croak and William Croak, brothers of the bride, and Kyle Croak, nephew of the bride. Hudson Croak, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Suzanne Cook served as scripture reader. Vocalists were Jean Ison, godmother of the bride, Jennifer Solomon and Dan Lucas. Organist was Brian Tidwell. Amy Groves, Cassidy Groves, Kerry Strawn and Delaney Schneider serves as the house party. Ushers were Chris Groves, Chris Martin, Erik Strawn and Brent Solomon.

Following a wedding trip to Alaska, the couple will reside in Midwest City.
