Small quake awakens some Okla. residents

OKLAHOMA CITY — The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.2-magnitude earthquake rattled northeastern Oklahoma County on Wednesday.

USGS says the quake struck shortly after midnight. The earthquake's epicenter was four miles southwest of Arcadia, six miles northwest of Jones and 14 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

Some residents of Jones say they were awakened by the quake, but authorities say there are no reports of injuries or structural damage.

Last year, Oklahoma saw 95 earthquakes with a magnitude of 1.8 or higher. A record-breaking 5.6-magnitude earthquake hit Oklahoma in November 2011, damaging dozens of homes and businesses.
