BROKEN ARROW —
A funeral has been scheduled for a Northeastern State University at Broken Arrow assistant professor who was among four people killed in a place crash near Chanute, Kan.
Officials said Monday Garrett Coble’s funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ’s Chapel at Oral Roberts University.
Luke Sheets, Austin Anderson and Stephen Luth also died as the twin-engine Cessna 401 was en route from Tulsa to an Acquire the Fire rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Friday afternoon. Another passenger, Hannah Luce, remained hospitalized in Kansas City, Kan.
Northeastern State officials say Coble graduated from Henryetta High School and was to earn a doctorate in business administration from Oklahoma State University in August.
He was a visiting professor of marketing at Oral Roberts before joining Northeastern State last year.
