AUSTIN, Texas —
Myck Kabongo scored 32 points and made an off-balance jumper at the buzzer to force overtime, and Texas rallied from 22 points down in the second half to beat Oklahoma 92-86 Wednesday night.
Kabongo scored Texas’ first six points in overtime, opening the period with a 3-pointer to give Texas its first lead since the first half.
Romero Osby scored 31 for Oklahoma (18-9, 10-5 Big 12), which led 67-45 on a dunk by Amath M’Baye with 7:54 to play in regulation. Texas stormed back behind a 13-0 run.
Sheldon McClellan scored 17 for Texas (13-15, 5-10), including three free throws with 9.5 seconds left. Osby missed one of two free throws on the other end, setting up Kabongo’s desperation shot that tied it at 77.
