OKLAHOMA CITY —
Sara Nazari and Hunter McEachern both won four gold medals in leading the Enid girls to the championship of the Putnam City Invitational swim meet Tuesday. Nazari won the 200-yard freestyle (2:09.43) and 200 IM (2:22.06). McEachern took the 50 free (26.10) and the 100 breast (1:15.42).
McEachern and Nazari teamed with Ashley Valdez and Whitney Livesay to win both the 200 medley (2:05.27) and 200 free (1:51.59) relays.
“We swam a lot sharper than we did at Bartlesville (Friday),’’ said Enid coach Ginny Shipley. “We had a lot of kids get personal records. We’re ready to go to Midwest City (Jan. 25) and see what happens.’’
