The Bedlam rivalry game will return to the final week of the season in 2013.
Oklahoma State announced next year’s full football schedule Tuesday, including a home game against rival Oklahoma on Dec. 7.
The Bedlam game was played on the final week of the regular season in 2011 but moved to Thanksgiving week this season, where it has been played from 2005 to 2010.
The Cowboys will open the 2013 season against Mississippi State in Houston and then host non-conference games against Texas-San Antonio and Lamar the following two weeks.
The Big 12 schedule opens with a Sept. 28 trip to West Virginia. OSU is also scheduled to play home games against Kansas State, TCU, Kansas and Baylor and road games at Iowa State, Texas Tech and Texas.
A rematch of OU’s wild victory at West Virginia will come early next season.
The Sooners released next year’s football schedule Tuesday, including a Sept. 7 visit from the Mountaineers to Norman. OU won 50-49 at West Virginia on Saturday night in the teams’ first meeting as Big 12 foes.
OU will open 2013 with three straight home games, against Louisiana-Monroe on Aug. 31, West Virginia and then Tulsa on Sept. 14, then have an off week before a road game at Notre Dame on Sept. 28.
The Red River Rivalry game against Texas will be played Oct. 12 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas
