ENID, Okla. —
Oklahoma Bible Academy’s volleyball team, ranked No. 5 in 5A, lost to 6A state-bound Stillwater 3-1 (26-24, 25-19, 22-25, 25-19) at the OBA gym Tuesday.
It was the final warmup for both teams before the state tournaments, which begin Friday.
“We played well,’’ said OBA coach James Ward. “We did some good things against a good team. I think this will help get us both ready for state. We had a good team effort, and our defense was really tough. I’m glad they came over.’’
OBA, 26-13, will play Christian Heritage at 5:15 p.m. Friday in a first-round match at Westmoore High School. OBA was 1-2 against CHA this season.
