basketball highlights
Highlights of four area teams at the state basketball tournament will be shown on the Oklahoma High School Sports Express at 10:30 tonight on KOKH (Channel 8, Suddenlink).
First-round games scheduled to be shown are Pond Creek-Hunter/Cheyenne-Reydon girls, Burlington-Arnett boys, Hammon-DCLA girls and Lomega-Leedey girls.
Highlights of all eight semifinals are scheduled as well.
OCC leads Cup
Oakwood Country Club took a 7-1 lead over the Enid Tennis Association at the Edwards Jones McClure Cup Saturday at the OCC indoor courts.
Dan Gaston and Kim Moore got ETA’s only win in mixed doubles.
Today’s action begins at noon at Oakwood.
“It’s going to be a lot tougher for us tomorrow,’’ said Oakwood pro Jim Shaughnessy.
