More reps expected for Oklahoma’s McFarland
Freshman defensive tackle Jamarkus McFarland is expected to see more playing time against Oklahoma State.
Adrian Taylor, who has started 26 straight games dating back to last season, has been limited in practice this week due to a leg injury. He’s expected to play, but defensive coordinator Brent Venables admitted he doesn’t know how much.

Oklahoma State is preparing to play in front of an Owen Field crowd that is expected to be in full voice.
“They’ve got a great home crowd behind them,’’ said wide receiver Justin Blackmon. “Playing in that atmosphere probably helps them out a lot.’’
Stoops enters uncharted territory for Bedlam game
Saturday’s game marks only the third time in Bob Stoops’ 11 seasons his team is getting ready to play Oklahoma State without either knowing it would play for the conference title and needing a win to get there.
The last time Bedlam was played under those circumstances was in 2005. The other was in Stoops’ first season in 1999.
