in tennis tourney
Enid’s Mackenzie Zaloudek went 2-2 at a Missouri Valley Tennis Association Girls 18-Under Super Segment III at Columbia, Mo., this weekend.
Zaloudek defeated No. 3 seed Alecia Kauss, of Overland Park, Kan., 5-0, injury default; lost to Joan Dien, of Overland Park, 7-5, 6-4; defeated Rachel Webb, of Waterloo, Iowa, 6-4, 6-4, before falling to Mackenzie Rozell, of Springfield, Mo., 6-1, 6-4.
Kathryn Dillingham was 0-2 at a MVTA Girls 16-Under Super Segment III in Wichita, Kan.
She lost to Katherine Sims, of the Heart of America region, 6-3, 6-2 and to Abby Stevens, of Kansas, 7-5, 6-1.
To qualify for the MVTA Supers, a player has to be ranked in the top 32 in the five-state Valley region.
Meadowlake golf
tourney postponed
Officials postponed Sunday’s Meadowlake golf tournament due to rain, resetting it for next weekend.
The four-person scrambletournament is set noon Sunday, Nov. 22.
Prizes include tournament payouts, team skins and closest-to-the-pin.

EHS boys risk league lead
Enid’s boys will put their Centennial Conference lead on the line tonight when they travel to Stillwater for the second half of a basketball doubleheader at 8. The girls tip off at 6:30.

Oklahoma basketball players Steven Pledger and Andrew Fitzgerald were cited for petty larceny Saturday night at the Dillard’s department store in Sooner Mall.
