Northwestern Oklahoma State will be going for its third straight victory today when the Rangers host Central States Football League rival Texas College at 2 p.m. at Ranger Field.
Texas College is 0-7 overall after a 31-26 loss to Oklahoma Panhandle University.
NWOSU is 5-3 after a 48-28 win over Southern Nazarene University. Nate Guillory ran for more than 200 yards for the Rangers and scored twice. Korey Williams had 164 yards in receptions and two TDs.
Guillory has rushed for 1,223 yards on 204 carries for a 6.0 yard per carry average. He’s scored nine touchdowns.
Williams has caught 55 passes for 713 yards and four scores.
NWOSU quarterback Kyle Jech, of Kingfisher, has completed 120 of 231 passes for 1,469 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s thrown six interceptions.
Lantz Mathers leads the Ranger defensive charge with 36 unassisted and 14 assisted stops. He has 24 tackles for 79 yards in losses and has 4.5 quarterback sacks.
Texas College quarterback X’Zavier Bloodsaw has completed 124 of 269 passes for 1,515 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s thrown 18 interceptions.
