Greybeards’ tailgate
party set Friday
Enid Greybeards will have a tailgate party from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. on Iowa Street Friday before the Enid-Ponca City football game.
Club members will be serving a burger or hot dog basket with chips, cookie and a drink for $5.
Proceeds will benefit the EHS football program.
Golf tourney set
at Meadowlake
The four-person Turkey Creek golf scramble is set with a noon shotgun start Nov. 15 at Meadowlake.
Entry fees are $20 for each player who is a member and $40 for each non-member. Green fees are included for non-members.
The payout will be determined by the number of entries and flights. Prizes also will be awarded to teams in skins and closest-to-the-pin competitions.

Enid wrestlers plan
weekend fundraiser
The Enid wrestling team will hold a turkey shoot as a fundraiser at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grand National Gun Club.
Oklahoma State assistant wrestling coach Chris Pendleton and several OSU wrestlers are expected to participate.
Soccer boosters
begin fundraiser
Enid High School’s Soccer Booster Club is selling Red Wheel products — pies, cheese cakes, cookie dough, burritos, egg rolls, pizza, etc., as a fundraiser.
Purchases can be made from any member of the boys or girls teams. Initial deadline is Nov. 23 but additional orders will be taken through Nov. 30.
Orders can be picked up from 3:30-6 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Enid Soccer Complex on West Poplar.

Turkey shoot to help
renovate Waukomis park
Waukomis Park Renovation Committee will hold a fall turkey shoot from 1 p.m. to dark Nov. 9.
The event will be held at the Bison Shooting Range,11/2 miles South of Bison and 3/4 mile West, with Roger Dobrovolny as host.
There will be trap and five-stand shooting contests. Winners will receive a certificate for a Thanksgiving turkey. Shooters should bring their own gun and eye/ear protection.
Hamburgers, hot dogs and chili will be available as well as brownies and beverages. Proceeds will be used to help renovate the Waukomis park.
