NOC Enid wins
PRATT, Kan. — Jeremy Lay scored 35 points and Ben Smith added 21 as Northern Oklahoma College Enid’s men’s basketball team beat host Pratt (Kan.) 82-71 in the first day of the Pratt Classic.
The Jets, 4-2, outscored the hosts 45-37 in the second half after leading at halftime 37-34.
“We played really well in the second half,’’ said NOC Enid assistant coach Brian Humphries. “Lay controlled the game.’’
NOC Enid will face Barton County today.

EHS boys risk league lead
Enid’s boys will put their Centennial Conference lead on the line tonight when they travel to Stillwater for the second half of a basketball doubleheader at 8. The girls tip off at 6:30.

Oklahoma basketball players Steven Pledger and Andrew Fitzgerald were cited for petty larceny Saturday night at the Dillard’s department store in Sooner Mall.
