DEL CITY — Alex Jones had another big day as the Enid Pacers’ softball team split two games Saturday at the Mid-Del Festival.
In a 2-0 loss to Broken Arrow, Jones allowed just two hits while striking out 11. She walked five but allowed no earned runs.
At the plate, Jones went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases.
In the second game, a 4-1 win over Norman North, Jones went 3-for-4 at the plate. On the mound, she allowed two hits and one walk, struck out 10 and did not allow an earned run.
Jones improved to 12-1 on the mound this season.
Kaleena Castor went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored.
Enid (12-1) hosts Bartlesville on Tuesday.
