ENID, Okla. —
Enid’s girls and boys had seven new state cuts in sweeping Lawton’s three high schools in a swim dual at Denny Price Family YMCA Friday.
The Pacers had 482 points to outdistance Lawton Eisenhower (311), Lawton (268) and Lawton MacArthur (246).
Getting new state cuts were Whitney Livesay, 200 free, 2:13.16; Sara Nazari, 200 IM, 2:19.28 and 500 free, 5:37.54; Hunter McEachern, 100 breast, 1:14.54 and the 400 free relay of Livesay, McEachern, Nazari and Ashley Valdez, 4:08.24.
The Plainsmen had 269.50 points to edge out Eisenhower (249.50), Lawton (192) and Lawton MacArthur (95). Gabe Sanchez had two new state cuts for the Plainsmen — 200 free, 1:55.46 and 100 back, 1:01.56.
“We were pumped,’’ said EHS coach Ginny Shipley.
Alyssa Shearer was another double winner for the Pacers taking the 100 free, 1:11.19 and 100 back, 1:19.13.
