ENID, Okla. —
Sharon-Mutual will be trying to reach the state finals for the first time in school history when the Trojans face No. 1-ranked Tipton at 7:30 tonight at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
The Trojans have won 10 straight games since losing to undefeated Forgan 32-6 on Sept. 7. Sharon-Mutual has beaten Corn Bible and Thackerville by identical 48-0 scores.
Tipton has shut out Buffalo, 50-0 and Bartlesville Wesleyan 46-0 in the playoffs so far.
Tipton beat Sharon-Mutual 48-30 in last year’s semifinals. The winner will play the Cherokee-Forgan winner next week for the state championship.
