ENID, Okla. —
Oklahoma Bible Academy will warm up for the Class 5A state volleyball tournament by playing two 6A opponents today and Tuesday.
OBA will host No. 12 Southmoore at 5:30 p.m. today and Stillwater at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The Southmoore match will act as the Lady Trojans’ Senior Night.
Southmoore, 20-11, lost to No. 4 Edmond Santa Fe 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-20) in the regional finals last week. Stillwater, 19-11, will play Santa Fe at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the first round of the 6A state tournament.
Stillwater beat OBA 3-1 (25-16, 13-25, 25-23, 25-14) on Aug. 7.
“This is a great opportunity for us to play some good opponents before state,’’ said OBA coach James Ward.
The No. 5-ranked Lady Trojans (24-13) will face No. 4 Christian Heritage (27-8) at 5:15 p.m. Friday in the first round of the state tournament at Westmoore High School.
OBA was 1-2 against the Crusaders this season.
The winner will face the Heritage Hall-Lincoln Christian winner at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals. The championship is set for 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
“We love having a chance to play them again,’’ Ward said.

Saturday — 12:30, Heritage Hall-Lincoln Christian winner vs. OBA-Christian Heritage winner; 2:15, Cascia Hall-Catoosa winner vs. Shawnee-Tulsa Washington winner; 6:15, Championship.
