NWOSU picked 2nd
in CSFL grid poll
Northwestern Oklahoma State has been picked to finish second in the Central States Football League in a poll of league coaches, sports information directors and selected media.
The Rangers, who received four of the 11 first-place votes, had 33 points to finish behind Langston, which had seven first-place votes and 40 points.
Langston is the defending league champion with a 4-0 league mark.
Bacone College was third with 29 points, followed by Southern Nazarene with 28, Southwest Assemblies of God with 15 and Texas College with 11.
Chisholm football
meeting Monday
Chisholm’s football team will have a mandatory meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the fieldhouse. For information, call coach Joey Reinart at (405) 880-4921.
Fairview hosting
2-man tournament
Fairview’s Lakeside Golf Course will host a two-man tournament Saturday and Sunday.
The first day will be a scramble. The second round will be a low ball format.
Cost is $120 per team and does not include carts.
Limited carts are available. Teams should call ahead to reserve a cart.

physicals Monday
Physicals for Kremlin-Hillsdale athletes will be from 6-7 p.m. Monday at Northwest Pediatrics, 3201 N. Van Buren. Athletes should enter at the north door.
Enid alumni softball
game set for tonight
Enid High School’s softball team will hold its alumni game tonight at Pacer Field. A cookout will follow. Any former EHS players interested in playing should contact Pacers coach Lee Linsenmeyer at (405) 612-2689.
Fairmont oldtimers
game set Saturday
Fairmont will hold its 29th annual Oldtimers softball game at 8 p.m. Saturday.

EHS boys risk league lead
Enid’s boys will put their Centennial Conference lead on the line tonight when they travel to Stillwater for the second half of a basketball doubleheader at 8. The girls tip off at 6:30.

2 OU basketball players cited for shoplifting
Oklahoma basketball players Steven Pledger and Andrew Fitzgerald were cited for petty larceny Saturday night at the Dillard’s department store in Sooner Mall.
