Logan Nault threw 42⁄3 innings of scoreless relief as the Enid Majors rallied past the Enid Minors 8-6 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark Thursday.
Nault allowed only three hits, struck out three and walked one as the Minors did not score after taking a 6-4 lead in the fifth on an RBI single by Erick Ramirez. Blake McMullen got the save.
The Majors took a 7-6 lead with three runs in the fifth on a two-RBI double by Zach Gonzalez and an RBI single by Seth Floyd. Matt Fuksa singled in Matt Regier, who tripled in the eighth.
The Minors took a 3-0 lead on an RBI single by Dillon Walker in the first and RBIs by Brian Robles and Jared Tucker in the second. The Majors tied the game in the bottom half with Joe Black’s two-RBI single being the big blow. The game was tied at 4-4 after four. Ivan Moreno singled in a run for the Minors and Floyd had an RBI for the Majors.It was the sixth straight win for the Majors, 29-7. They will host Elk City at 8 p.m. Saturday.
