NORMAN — Oklahoma basketball players Steven Pledger and Andrew Fitzgerald were cited for petty larceny Saturday night at the Dillard’s department store in Sooner Mall.
The citations came from the department store’s security. Neither was taken into custody by Norman police.
Pledger, a 6-foot-4, freshman guard, and Fitzgerald, a 6-foot-8, freshman forward, both played extensively in the Sooners’ upset victory over Texas Saturday. Pledger scored nine points in 24 minutes. Fitzgerald started the game and played 19 minutes.
Their status for tonight’s game against Texas Tech is unknown.
