Library to host teen programs
April teen programs at the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County include chess Thursday at 7 p.m.; teen movie night April 26 at 7 p.m. and teen duck tape fun April 28 at 2 p.m.
Pioneer-Pleasant Vale enrollment
Pioneer Pleasant Vale School will enroll Pre-K and kindergarten students for the 2007-08 school year from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at the elementary school, 6020 E. Willow. Parents need to bring birth certificate, immunization records and social security numbers. Kindergarten students will be given a Gesell test which will take approximately 50 minutes.
Ringwood Pre-K Roundup
Ringwood School is having its yearly Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up on Monday.
If you have a student or know of a student that will be four years old before September 1, 2007 and you wish to attend Ringwood Elementary Pre-school, please call the school at 580 883-2203 and leave your number. We will return your call and give you your time and all information you will need.
Enid High School orchestra to perform April 26
The 28-member Enid High School orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. April 26 at Enid Symphony Hall. Admission is free, but donations for the orchestra program will be accepted. The first part of the 45-minute concert will serve as a rehearsal for Tri-State repertoire and the second part includes tunes written by movie composer John Williams as well as selections from the video game “Halo.” Enid Symphony Orchestra director Doug Newell will conduct. Newell has served as EHS’ orchestra teacher for the past 10 years.
Hillsdale Christian to present ‘Oklahoma!’
Hillsdale Christian School grades pre-kindergarten through sixth will perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” May 4 and May 12.
Dinner will be served May 4 at Hillsdale Christian School 5-6:45 p.m. and cost is by donation. “Oklahoma!” will begin at 7 p.m.
A second performance of “Oklahoma!” will be presented at Oklahoma Bible Academy 7 p.m. May 12. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.

The cast includes Logan Hayes, MacKenzie Hoffsommer, Andrea Messenger, Branden Meier, McKayla Kuykendall, Blake Burchel, Ricki Schroeder and Adam Eaton. Director is Linda Zander.
EHS parent group to hold meeting tonight
The Enid High School Parent Teacher Student Association will host its final meeting of the year at 5 p.m. April 19 at Davinci’s Coffee House, 2315 W. Willow.
Topics for discussion include end-of-year activities, including the red apple teacher award, student goody bags for finals and Teacher Appreciation Week.
Any parents, students and teachers interested in attending are welcome, organizers said.
