Leatherman, 87
Mildred Leatherman will celebrate her 87th birthday today.
She was born April 12, 1920, in Clarendon, Texas, to Frank and Lois Wallin.
She married Lester Leatherman in 1943. She taught school for many years in the Balko and Perryton area. They moved to Enid in October 1998 to be closer to their children.
Her children are Larry and Judy Leatherman, Erie, Colo.; Ruby and George Tritschler, Enid; Kay and Kenny Waggoner, Stillwater; and Rhonda and Darrell Tope, Tulsa. They have 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
