ENID — The funeral for Margaret Roberts, 68, of Alva, will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Bible Baptist Church, Alva. The Rev. John Clapp will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.

She was born April 29, 1941, in Ashland, Kan., to Aleta Myrtle Rogers and Paul Robert Cotter and died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Alva Share Medical Center.

She attended Paruna Grade School and graduated from Buffalo High School in 1959.

She married Larry Dean Roberts Jan. 21, 1965, in Paruna. They made their home in Alva, where she was a homemaker and secretary to her husband at Savere Refrigeration.

Surviving are her husband, Larry; her children, Sharon Cox and Glenn Roberts; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or charity of donor’s choice.
