Letter: Thank you to those improving life in Enid

ENID, Okla. — The many improvements taking place in Enid have not gone unnoticed.

In the past 20 plus years, Enid officials and volunteers have worked diligently at improving the quality of life here.

The infrastructure and overall appearance of Enid has shown tremendous improvement.

The new elementary schools, as well as the major improvements to existing schools, shows the people of Enid are committed to quality education.

Many old and dilapidated buildings in the downtown Enid are gone. Great!

The outdated playground equipment has begun to be updated and the splash pads are a very nice addition.

David Allen Memorial Ballpark, the Enid Symphony building and Cherokee Strip museum are very well done.

I just want to say thank you to the many people who have been and are involved in improving quality of life here in Enid.
