Don’t forget God is in control

Yes, the election is over and decisions have been made by millions of voters, but like it or not, just don’t ever forget God is in control. He lets things happen and often it’s not what anyone wants. If you don’t believe this, just read the most precious and best book ever written: The Bible.

I was taught by my father and mother every word in the Bible from Genesis to Revelations was true. If you didn’t believe every word between those Scriptures was true, then you do not believe all the Bible.

I voted the Republican ticket and I’m proud of it. If John McCain’s opponent had gone through a P.O.W. prison camp like McCain did and was tortured by the enemy breaking many of his bones, starvation and relentless other almost “unbearable” tortures and “never lost faith” in himself or his determination to survive all these, then I may have voted differently. McCain has so much more experience in government than his opponent. He picked a very good running mate too. I know for sure God was with McCain all through his captivity, otherwise he would not have survived his captivity.

Well, we look forward to a good recovery from this election. Time will tell, so all I can assume is things will go well for our country. But never forget, we are not in control of the way things are.

All I can recommend is to read your Bible, pray for the best and hang on. And be happy with what you have and not what you want. The Bible says so.
