ENID, Okla. —
On Tuesday, I followed the polling instruction signs to “VOTE AQUI.”
For the 77 percent of fellow voters, I bow from the hips.
I was mildly amused at city manager Eric Benson’s response: “The people have spoken. This is how Democracy works.”
I wonder when he learned that, as I drive past the Renaissance Project Gateway to Enid — the Enid Event Center totaling $51 million-plus.
Now, have you driven up West Oklahoma and Washington lately?
Let’s get real and repair some streets.
