ENID, Okla. —
I am so pleased to read in the paper that Clay Hall will be put to good use again. I was among the first residents to help fill the rooms in the spring of 1946. My, what an improvement over old Athenian Hall, where the stairs literally creaked under our feet. Since we moved back to Enid six years ago, I have looked at Clay Hall longingly, wondering what it looks like inside and whether I would recognize my room on the third floor. (Freshmen were always relegated to the top floor.)
I will be watching the renovation with special interest.
