ENID, Okla. —
Here we go again. Once again, the lottery officials tell us how much revenue they can generate if only they could take money away from schools so they can give better prizes.
The lottery has not generated, to date, what was estimated in the beginning. We were sold a bill of goods when the lottery was to be the end-all for school revenue. Now here comes another bill of goods.
Take money away from schools to boost lottery sales ... Bull! Perhaps a better move would be to replace the lottery management.
