John Harrison

Enid, OK — A graveside service for John Harrison, age 76, will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 at Enid Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Thorpe will officiate. Arrange-ments are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born July 21, 1933, in Bristow, Okla., to Kit and Ophelia Harrison and passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

He attended and graduated from Seminole High School.

John married Anna Marie Mason May 8, 1953, in Delaware, Okla. They moved to Enid in 1961. His career was in the oil fields.

He is survived by daughters, Lee Ann Harrison of Enid and Beth Gregg and husband James of Enid; son, Tom Harrison and wife Kathy of Enid; a grandson, Jarrod Gregg of Tulsa; and granddaughter, Sara Scott and husband Tyler of Waukomis, Okla.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna, his parents and a sister, Gail Chaffin.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
