Funeral for Katherine Lorraine Mervine, 65, Kiowa, Kan., is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Kiowa, with Mass of Christian burial following. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hazelton, Kan. Visitation 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa.
She was born April 9, 1947, in Hardtner, Kan., to Juan (Shorty) Archuleta and Juanita (Janie) Vigil Archuleta and died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
Surviving are husband, Wes; brothers, Danny and Larry Archuleta, Kiowa, and Bobby and Tony Archuleta, Hazelton; sisters, Susie Reed, Sandra Drake and Ruby Velasquez, Kiowa, and Corrine East, Wichita, Kan.
