ENID, Okla. — KIOWA, Kan. — Funeral for George Smith will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Kiowa Christian Church. Burial in Byron-Amorita Cemetery. Arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa, Kan. Visitation 1-5 p.m. today. (www.lan manmemorials.com)

George was born Jan. 28, 1921, in Amorita, Okla., to George Bert and Maggie Gray Smith and died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

Preceded by wife, Shirley, one son, three sisters and one great-grandchild.

Surviving are children, Spencer Smith and Burton Smith, both of Kiowa, Sheila Mullinex of Seymour, Ind., Cheryl Ransom of Wakita, and Doug Smith of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
