ENID, Okla. —
Carole Lee Tebow McCart was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Joplin, Mo., to Ercell Dale and Eunice Laura Reeves Tebow.
The family moved to Pond Creek, where Ercell opened Tebow Drug Store. While attending Pond Creek High School, she worked at the drug store.
When Bob McCart was in a car accident outside of town, they stopped at the drug store before heading to Enid, and Carole Lee rode with them to help. They married July 13, 1952, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this past summer.
She attended Oklahoma A&M, and they had three children, Carla, Kim and Dale.
After Bob’s stint in the Army, they moved to Nash, Okla., to work on the McCart family farm.
Carole Lee was a member of the Nash School Board and helped with the Jet-Nash School District merger. She was a member of Nash Fire Department for 25 years, and worked as an emergency medical technician. She taught First Responder and CPR classes all over the area.
She was a good cook, and her grandchildren were especially fond of her macaroni and cheese that she served at every family event, including Thanksgiving. Over the years, she generously provided food to friends and family and the sick and bereaved. Until a few weeks before her death, she was organizing dinners.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; sister, Marilyn Dowell of Ponca City; her children and their spouses, Carla and Jim Hilkert of Allen, Texas, Kim and Kim Metcalf of Nash and Dale and Rhonda McCart of Nash. She has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Carole Lee Tebow McCart funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Nash Christian Church, with Rev. Richard Travis officiating. Interment in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek
Memorials may be made to Nash Firemen’s Fund, Nash Christian Church, Pond Creek Ambulance Association and Hospice Circle of Love.

Mr. Rivenburg passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Wesley Oaks Memory Care Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas, from complications of pneumonia.
He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Peabody, Kan., to Hugh and Elizabeth Rivenburg.
Earl was their fifth and final child, as his mother died shortly after his birth. He was given to a hired hand and his wife to raise and unfortunately, his was not a happy childhood.
At an early age, he set out on his own and was taken in by Emma Seifert as a farmhand in Carrier, Okla., where he graduated from high school in 1948. It was here that he met and married his first wife, who bore his two children. -
Mary Frances Whitfill
Graveside service for Mary Frances Whitfill, 97, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Rev. Suzie Goldt will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mary was born May 27, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo., to William Edward and Mary Etta (Paradise) Major and passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at The Commons in Enid, Okla.
She grew up in Kansas City, Mo., graduating from Central High School in 1932.
She married her high school sweetheart, Elton Whitfill, on June 8, 1935, and celebrated 72 years of marriage before his passing in 2008. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson. -
Scott Swan

He died Monday, April 15, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
He worked as a field service engineer for General Electric in Oklahoma City, Enid, and Houston. -

Lisa was born July 9, 1960, in Clinton, Okla., to Thomas Francis Lee and Maymie Limpy and died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Sparks Hospital, Fort Smith, Ark.
Lisa graduated from high school in Eufaula, Okla. She was a homemaker for her family. -
