He was born July 10, 1944, in Oklahoma City to Elbert M. and Nellie May Endsley Stephens and died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at his home in Enid.
He grew up in Davenport and served in the Army. He lived in Enid where he owned and operated Stephens Landscaping. He married Janet Gayle Bell June 25, 1992, in Enid. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church and American Legion.
Surviving are his wife Gayle, of the home; his children, Mavis Brooks of Mayetta, Kan., Billy Joe Stephens and Larry Bartlett, both of Mustang, Peggy Nichole Long of Holdenville and Kristie Jensen, Shelly Magallanez and Tracy Anderson, all of Enid; three brothers, James Stephens and Melvin Stephens, both of Enid; and Bill Stephens of Mannford; four sisters, Mary Ninness and Jeanie Beggs, both of Enid; Florence McDannald of Covington, and Marjorie Liming of Purcell; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.

She was born March 7, 1972, in Okeene to Ronald Laverne and Linda Mae Snow Kirk and died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, in Oklahoma City.
She attended school at Hitchcock and Okeene, graduating in 1990 from Okeene High School. She attended school at Southwestern for a period of time. She married Kenny White May 18, 1991, in Hitchcock. They made their home southeast of Woodward. She worked as a pre-kindergarten paraprofessional at Westwood in the Woodward school system and at Cake Lady Shop.
Surviving are her husband Kenny; two daughters, Caitlin and Kelsie, of the home; her parents, Ron and Linda Kirk; one brother, Brad Kirk; and her grandmother, Mildred Snow.

She was born April 3, 1920, in Buffalo, to Utah Daniel and Lena Mabel Ferguson Richardson and died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Pampa.
She graduated from Buffalo High School. She moved to Oregon in 1945 from Enid. She married Orlin H. Dean Feb. 14, 1953. He died March 16, 2003. They made their home in Eugene, Ore. She began working for the telephone company Jan. 2, 1948 and retired from the telephone company Feb. 1982 after 31 years.
Surviving are five sisters and two brothers, Pauline Moore of Warner Robins, Ga., Velma Matthews of Pampa, Thelma Clark of Shawnee, Kan., Dolores Black of Woodward, Dorothy Cotter of Buffalo, Dean Richardson of Buffalo and James Richardson of Pampa.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orlin.

He was born July 20, 1975, in Springfield, Mo., to Robert Eugene and Mary Lue Wells Hendricks and died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Fairview.
He graduated from Fairview High School in 1993 and attended Oklahoma State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He was a truck driver for many years. He moved to McPherson, Kan., where he lived for seven years. He worked at a vinyl fence and siding manufacturing company in McPherson. He was a member of Assembly of God Church, Fairview.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Hendricks of Fairview; three brothers, Kurtis E. Hendricks of Enid, Gary Lee Hendricks of Fairview and Jackie Wayne Hendricks of Woodward.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Hendricks.

He graduated from Delphi High School in 1946. After attending Indiana University he joined the Army where he served in occupied Japan until 1947. He then attended college in Albuquerque, N.M. He married Beverly Jean Casler Aug. 25, 1949. She died in 1982. He was a salesman most of his working years.
Surviving are his three children, Jeff Mills and Teri Thorp, both of Enid, and Kathleen Gash of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one brother, Robert Mills of Indiana; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was born August 3, 1923, in Enid, to Lewis and Daisy D. Overstreet Schaffer and died August 31, 2007 in Okmulgee, OK.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1942. After graduating, Richard enlisted in the Army Air Corp and separated in 1944 with a medical discharge.
He married his high school sweetheart, Thelma Tipton, December 24, 1943. Due to his civil services employment, they lived in various locations until settling in Burns Flat, OK in 1960. While in Burns Flat, he was a member of the Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge and India Temple. Richard was proud to have been selected to serve in the Oklahoma Silver-Haired Legislature.
After retiring from civil service in 1985, he spent his time traveling with his beloved wife. Their travels took them to new places and new friends.
Richard was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by a brother, Howard Schaffer of Enid; four daughters, Beverly Bird of Oklahoma City, Jeannine Simpson of Enid, Jackie Browning of Boynton, and Kim Boone of Burns Flat; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Thelma and a cherished grandson, Aaron.

Phil was born on March 22, 1948, to George and Norma Henderson Lamb and passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center after a lengthy illness.
He graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1966. He played and started on the 1966 Enid Plainsman State Championship football team. He received his Bachelor of Business from Phillips University in 1972, later obtaining his Master Degree in Education from Phillips in 2001.
He was an avid sports fan enjoying the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. He always kept up with his beloved Enid Plainsmen.
Phil served his country in the United States Army and the Army Reserves from 1968 to 1976.
The most important event of his life was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of nine at the First Baptist Church in Enid. Phil was a political conservative.
He suffered from extremely poor health the past 10 years of his life, suffering from heart disease and a rare form of cancer amidst all this. He maintained a keen, dry sense of humor.
Phil is survived by his brother, Norman and his wife Belva; sister, Gayle Lamb; nephews and nieces, Alan Dunn, Linda Gayle Dunn, Todd Lamb, Kim Akers, and Fawn Ingmire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Cancer Division or a charity of one’s choice.
