HAZEL ELIZABETH BUSSE

The funeral for Hazel Busse, 97, of Perry, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry.

She was born Dec. 19, 1909, in Billings, to Herbert Armstrong and Lida Marie Rishton McMullen,and died Sunday, March 11, 2007.

She was raised in the Billings area. She married Lloyd Moore Jan. 6, 1936, in Perry. He died Aug. 9, 1946. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Mary Circle, Petunia Garden Club and the Friendly Community Fellowship.

Surviving are three daughters, Marilyn Eby of Prescott, Ariz., Phyllis Oliphant of Norman, and Jan Billingsley of Perry; two sisters, Florence Dalrymple of Osage City, Kan. and Alice Yandell of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, two granddaughters, and four brothers.

WILLIAM ‘BLAKE’ CULP

The funeral for William “Blake” Culp, 61, of Enid, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Pat Horst will officaite. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 8, 1945, in Columbia, S.C. to Tom and Clydie Squires Culp Sr. and died Friday, March 9, 2007, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He attended Junior High and Enid High School graduating in 1965. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Enid Police Department for 10 years. He worked for Champlin Refinery for five years, was chief of police for the town of Garber for two years. He was chief of police for North Enid for 10 years and worked for the Department of Human Services at Northern Oklahoma Resource Center of Enid. He worked as a suprvisor for James Crabtree Correctional Center for five years. He worked as a cook at NORCE until his health forced him to quit. He married Ann Sperry Kelley May 14, 1999, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He was a member of Oklahoma Peace Officers Association.

Surviving are his wife Ann Kelley, of the home; one son, Warrant Officer Cody Culp of Korea; one daughter, Kimberly Culp of Vermont; one brother, Tom Culp Jr. of Enid; one sister, Melba J. Lamb of Pensacola, Fla.; and three grandsons.

LORETTA GALE HAIGH

The funeral for Loretta Gale McElfresh Haigh, 54, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rick Milan will officiate. She was cremated at her request.

She was born Aug. 27, 1952, in Enid to James Albert and Coy Mae Milan McElfresh and died Friday, March 9, 2007, in Wichita.

She was raised in Enid and attended Ames Schools. She was a self-employed painter.

Surviving are three children, Lisa Dean of Kansas and David Dean and Sharmae Keith, both of Wichita; four brothers, Anthony McElfresh of Enid, Albert McElfresh of Burns Flat, Jimmy Wendt of Turon, Kan., and Mike Wendt of Gueda Springs, Kan.; four sisters, Pat Black, Diane Winkleman, Pamela Jones and Betty Ann Petty, all of Enid; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

FAITH JEANINE ANDERSON

A graveside service for Faith Jeanine Anderson, 74, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Waukomis Cemetery. The Rev. Lester Lowry will officiate. Arrang-ements are by Lad-usau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born May 26, 1932, in Moline, Ill., to James Clinton and Marion Lucille Metz Crawford, and died Friday, March 9, 2007, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

She married Wayne Anderson Oct. 11, 1948, in Springfield, Ill. He died July 9, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Guthrie and Vicki Goldiron, both of Enid; one son, Wayne “Butch” Anderson of Enid; one brother, Jim Crawford; four sisters, Verla Forshee, Sharon Rowland, Monna Younger and Terry Crawford; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister.

PAUL T. SISSEL

A funeral service for Paul Trueman Sissel, 88, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Central Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Kevin Ward and Rev. Steve Lance officiating. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Fairfax Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born to Franklin Trueman and Dorothy Annie (McMahan) Sissel on Sept. 29, 1918, in Magdalena, N.M., and died Thrusday, March 8, 2007, at his home in Enid.

He grew up in Fairfax, and graduated from Fairfax High School. On Oct. 1, 1939, he married Sarah W. Rollins in Fairfax. Paul served in the United States Army during World War II. He was the recipient of the Silver Star for Bravery on April 16, 1945. Paul and Sarah moved to Enid in 1971, where he worked for Champlin Oil Company for 38 years, retiring March 2, 1981. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church, where he was Royal Ranger Commander for 37 years, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, and a Sunday School teacher. He also served on the Board of Deacons and as Secretary of the Men’s Fellowship.

He is survivef by his wife, Sarah, of the home; five children, Dallas Paul Sissel and wife Carol of Shawnee, Kan., James Franklin Sissel and wife Doris of Victoria, Kan., Howard Eugene Sissel and wife Ruth Ann of Ponca City, Raymond Dale Sissel of Lefors, Texas, and Sharon Scruggs and husband Darrell of Drummond; two brothers, Roy Sissel and wife Leona of Maize, Kan., and Arthur Sissel and wife Donna of Fritch, Texas; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sissel in 1972, his mother, Dorothy Sissel in 1986, daughter, Cheryl Renae Sissel in 1952, and four brothers, David, F.T., Alvin and John Sissel.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Assembly of God Church Royal Rangers Program or Oklahoma Medical Research Found-ation, Alzheimer’s division.
