LONG, Larry Wayne, 51, Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Enid. Service pending with Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

WILLIAM M. ‘BILL’ BILES

The funeral for William M. “Bill” Biles, 67, of Dover, will be 3 p.m. today at Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Chapel, Crescent. The Rev. Bryan Haynes will officiate.

He was born June 24, 1939, in Monmouth, N.J., to Maynard and Elizabeth Heinz Biles and died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, in Crescent.

Surviving are his wife Georgia, of the home; five children, Linda Martinez, Lois Skula, William Biles, Careyann Beck and James Beck; two stepmothers; one sister, Jackie Biles; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

NOLA JEAN HARPER SINCLAIR

The funeral for Nola Jean Harper Sinclair, 73, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Nazarene Church, Watonga. The Rev. Keith Reichman will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Watonga. Arrange-ments are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.

She was born April 30, 1933, in Watonga to Roy and Bertha Harper and died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006.

She married Robert Milton Sinclair Aug. 15, 1948, in Watonga. She graduated from Watonga High School in 1951. Following graduation they settled in Norwalk, Calif., returning to Watonga in 1982. She was the head of dietary at Watonga Community Hospital and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Steven Sinclair of Aurora, Colo., and Donald Roy Sinclair of Watonga; two daughters, Deborah Annette Cottle of Carl Junction, Mo., and Norma Sue Sinclair of Fort Morgan, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, one sister and one brother.

DALE E. BATSON

Viewing and visitation for Dale E. Batson, 82, of Enid, will be today and Thursday with cremation to follow. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Enid to Frank and Marie Phares Batson and died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He married Betty B. Johnson March 17, 1945, in Garber. He served in the Air Force during World War II in China, Burma, India, Germany, France, Italy and England, flying 96 missions. Following his honorable discharge he joined the Oklahoma National Guard stationed in Enid. He worked at Champlin Refinery for 24 years.

Surviving are his wife Betty, of the home; three sons, Robert Dale Batson and Gerald Raymond Batson, both of Enid, and James Edward Batson of Ponca City; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

EMILIE CARTER

A graveside service for Emilie Carter, 96, of Billings, will be 11 a.m. Friday in Union Cemetery, Billings. Arrange-ments are by Anderson Funeral Home, Tonkawa.

She was born Sept. 9, 1910, in Kingfisher and died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006.

Surviving are two sons, one brother, a sister, four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Billings Rural Fire Depart-ment, ambulance fund or Hospice Circle of Love in Enid.

RICHARD C. HERRIDGE

The funeral for Richard Charles Herridge, 71, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Alva. The Rev. Sean Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.

He was born July 5, 1935, in Anthony, Kan., to Dick and Vee Mor-witz Her-ridge and died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006.

He attended school in Bluff City, Kan., graduating in 1953. He enlisted in the Air Force and served until 1957.

He married Violet Thomp-son Sept. 1, 1957, in Wilson. They lived in Anthony, moving to Alva in 1968. He was a member of Alva First Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife Violet, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Kennedy of Ardmore and Diane Penner of Dacoma; one sister, Karen Burkett of Cald-well, Kan.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter.

BILLY GENE HENTHORN

The funeral for Billy Gene Henthorn, 78, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John McLemore officiating and Rev. Don Angle assisting. Burial will follow in Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, OK.

He was born Oct. 5, 1927, in Enid, OK to Albert and Lois Wilson Henthorn and died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He attended grade school in Enid and then moved with his family near Ringwood, OK, where he attended Glade Country School and graduated from Cleo Springs High School. Bill and his twin brother, Bob, served together in the U.S. Navy Air Corp during the Korean War from Aug. 9, 1950 to June 8, 1954, aboard the aircraft carriers USS Bon Homme Richard 31 and USS Oriskany 34. Bill served as aviation machinist’s mate, third class, attached to Fighter Squadron 124.

On June 11, 1954, he married Dorothy Helen Maidment of Oklahoma City, OK in Pacific Beach, CA and they made Enid their home. He worked for Union Equity Cooperative Exchange and retired after 43 years as a superintendent of Elevator Y. He was active in Boy Scouts of America and served as Scout Master for Troop 13. Bill was a member of Central Christian Church, Sooner Sunday class, Levis ’n’ Lace Square Dance Club and North Enid Lions Club.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy of the home; a son, Thomas Edwin Henthorn and wife, Yolanda and grandchildren, Kris Lowe, Matthew, Danielle and Billy of Mountain View, CA; a daughter, Donna Kay Henthorn and grandchildren, Jessica and Jordan Goff of Enid; brothers, Marcus of Enid, and Bob of Moore, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul and Vertis, and three sisters, Sybil Ross, Verneal Ernie and Phyllis Nusz.

KENNETH D. TURNER

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Kenneth D. Turner will be held today, Sept. 27, at 3 p.m. at Central Christian Church in Enid, OK. Rev. Jerry Holt and Rev. Don Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Kremlin Cemetery, Kremlin, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born April 14, 1944, to A.C. and Elsie Ake Turner in Fairview, OK and died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, in Kremlin, OK.

He attended Liberty School, going on to graduate from Fairview High School. He attended Northwest Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK.

He married LaWalta “Wally” Class Aug. 28, 1982, in Enid, OK. They made their home in Kremlin, OK.

Kenneth was a lifetime member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, the American Quarter Horse Association and the International Boer Association Inc. He was affiliated with Oklahoma Wildlife Associ-ation and was an Envoy of Beta Sigma Phi.

As owner of Turner Consulting Co., he worked as a consultant for Horizontal/ Vertical Drilling in Texas, Lousiana, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma. His current position was with Chesapeake Energy as the Senior Drilling Superintendent of the northwest area of Oklahoma. While working with Chesapeake Energy, he set a world record in May of 1992 for the longest horizontal well with an uncased curve.

One of his passions was establishing and developing Flying T Farms, a cow/calf operation. He was known for his love of children and animals, his generosity and his infectious smile.

Surviving are his wife, LaWalta “Wally” Turner of the home; daughter, Mauricia Turner of Houston, Texas; son, Scott McClure and his wife Shelly of Winfield, Kan.; stepdaughter, Heyde Class of Enid, OK; brother, Donald Turner of Longdale, OK; sisters, Doris Brewer and Linda Johnson of Edmond, OK, Ramona Doane of Ringwood, OK, and Wilma Zimmerman of Fort Scott, Kan.; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division; Chesapeake Scholar-ship Fund; and the Kremlin-Hillsdale Education Founda-tion with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.

AUDREY PFRIMMER

Audrey Pfrimmer, 84, of Garber, OK still lived on the Centennial farm that was the Geo Pfrimmer homestead. She was the daughter of William H. and Callie (Campbell) Skidmore.

She was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Elizabeth, Ark., and died Sun-day, Sept. 24, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK.

She and Raymond Pfrimmer were married June 2, 1946, at Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren.

Audrey was an avid OSU fan, but a loyal Arkansas Razorback at heart. She loved professional baseball activities and enjoyed the livestock shows.

She was a member of the Noble County Republican Women, Oklahoma’s First Ladies, the Bellmon Belles, the Antelope Valley Women’s Work, Antelope Valley Home Demonstration Club and the Garber Nuway Club. A member of the Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren, Audrey served as a deacon, was a Sunday school teacher and church treasurer.

She loved quilting, sewing and gardening. Audrey also loved to travel, had visited Alaska and Australia and had taken several cruises.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at the Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren, south of Billings. Pastor Russell Betz will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Holderead. Interment will be in Polo Cemetery, northwest of Perry, OK. Services will be under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Garber, OK. A family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 27, 2006, at Dugger Funeral Home, Garber.

Audrey is survived by one son, Bill Majors and his wife Rosalie of Ponca City; two daughters, Dona Thralls and her husband Rex and Cindy Yost, all of Billings, OK; one brother, Delmar Skidmore of Enid, OK; six grandchildren, Michael Thralls of Billings, OK, Debby Thralls Holloway of Uvalde, Texas, Audrey Marie Majors Seeliger of Maude, OK, Carey Sue Majors Vega of Oklahoma City, OK, Ramee Yost Staerkel of Douglas, OK, and Randi Ruth Yost of Billings, OK; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who died on Nov. 2, 1986; a son-in-law, M. Sidney Yost; her parents; and four brothers.
