The funeral for Adrian Kruse, 88, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Terry A. Chick will officiate. He was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Beaver County to George and Allie Handle Kruse and died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Integris Bass Pavilion.
He grew up and attended school in Beaver County. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945, with the rank of private. He moved to Enid in 1945.
He married Phoebe Van-hoozer Oct. 11, 1946, in Vinita. She died Jan. 4, 1994.
He attended A&M; Tech Television Repair School in Okmulgee and worked for Klingenberg and Co. for 14 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe.

DEBRA KAY CARTER

She was born April 18, 1965, in Enid to Bobby and Alice Jones Carter and died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1983.
Surviving are two daughters, Faith Marie Voelzke and Whitney Daniel Voelzke; her father, Bobby Carter, of Enid; one sister, Shelley Goodwin; and a brother, Douglas Carter of Midwest City.
She was preceded in death by her mother.

DEALVA FRANCIS CLARK
Funeral service for DeAlva Francis Clark, 96 will be Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Kiowa, Kan. The Rev. Wayne Stephens will officiate. She was born March 8, 1909 in Elmwood to Claude and Nettie Wilson McCune and died Sunday, October 2, 2005, at Kiowa Hospital District Manor.
She attended grade school at Elmwood and graduated from Beaver High School in 1929.
She married Walter Reece Clark October 10, 1937, in Cherokee. They made their home north of Kiowa. He died in 1988.
She worked at Quality Clothiers in Cherokee, and in 1960 opened Clark’s Fabric Shop in Kiowa. She was a member of Kiowa United Methodist Church and active in United Methodist Women. She also was a member of Pleasant Hour Club, HDU Club, and was a 4-H clothing leader.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Sue Meyer of Hazelton; one brother, Ralph H. McCune of Beaver; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.
In addition to her husband, Walter, she was preceded by one sister and two bothers.

MARION DELMAR BAYLESS
The funeral for Marion Delmar Bayless was held Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Arnett. Burial was in DeBolt Cemetery. Arrangements were by Shaw Funeral Home, Arnett.
He was born February 23, 1914 near Cimarron, Kan., to Charles Franklin and Ethel Mae Brannan Bayless and died Saturday, October 1, 2005, at Seiling Municipal Hospital.
He moved with his family to Gentry, Ark., in 1920. They moved to a farm southeast of Gage where he lived until moving to Vici Nursing Home in 1998.
He attended Gentry School and Rocky Slope School in Ellis County, graduating from Arnett High School in 1932. He began teaching in 1933 at Pretty Prairie School in Ellis County. He also attended Northwestern State College, Alva. He received his bachelor of arts in 1940, and a master’s of education from Phillips University in 1953. He later attended Montana State University, Bozeman, Mont., Oklahoma A&M;, Stillwater, Fort Hays State College, Hays, Kan. and Cornell University, Ithaca, N. Y. He taught for a total of 44 years, 32 of those at Arnett High School, retiring in 1977.
He earned his wings in 1942, becoming a flight instructor for Army Civil Defense. He was a member of American Hereford Association, Oklahoma Edu-cators Association, Civil Defense Authority and Masonic Lodge. He was a 4-H leader and 1963 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Arnett and Bayless Quartet Singers.
Surviving are two brothers, Grover Bayless of Broken Arrow and Glenn Bayless of Arnett; and one sister, Elizabeth Rouse of Wichita Kan.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
JOHNNIE HAY GOODEN
The funeral for Johnnie Hay Gooden, 89, of Ames, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ames Baptist Church. The Revs. John Edwards and Jim Nance will officiate. Burial will be in Ames Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
She was born October 23, 1915, in Jackson County to John C. and Mary J. Sampler Collier and died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in Okeene Hospital.
She attended school in Jackson County.
She married Raymon Gooden Feb. 24, 1940, In Watonga. The couple lived and farmed in Ames. He died in 1996.
She was a homemaker and a member of Parker Chapel Union Church. She also attended Ames Baptist Church and was a member of Good Cheer Club and Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen Suit of Longdale, Janis Stubbs of Houston, and Marsha Norris of Ames; one brother, Bert Collier of Needles, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Raymon, she was preceded in death by three half-sisters and three half-brothers.

SARAH DRISKILL
The funeral for Sarah Driskill, 81, of Cleo Springs will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at the First Christian Church. Pastors Roy Wahlgren and Connie Schlarb will officiate. She was born Jan. 4, 1924, to George F. and Lenore Brown McCamey at Pioneer, Texas, and died Oct. 3, 2005 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She married Fred H. Driskill, Dec. 15, 1942. He died in 1974.
She worked as secretary-treasurer of Red’s Construction Co. for 25 years, and was a member of First Christian Church, Cleo Springs.
Surviving are four sons, Don Driskill of Kingwood, Texas; Gary Driskill, Clinton; Jerry Driskill of Broken Arrow and Terry Driskill of Enid; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Fred, she was preceded in death by one brother.

He married Anna Unruh Johnson, March 22, 1934. They lived and farmed in the Meno area until 1957 when they moved into Meno. He also worked for Singer Metal Co. and the Enid Foundry, retiring in 1981.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Johnson of Lakewood, Colo.; Dennis Johnson and Merlyn Johnson both of Greeley. Colo.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was born July 10, 1912, in Polk, Neb., to Charles and Sarah Reeves and died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at the Living Center.
She moved with her family to Enid as a teenager. She married Walter Hess Oct. 30, 1930. She later moved to Tacoma, Wash., returning to Enid in 1990.
Surviving are her daughters, LaVonne Wilhoit of Enid; Louise Reeves of Paducah, Ky.; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Ohler; two young children; a brother; and three sisters.

She graduated from Oktaha High School in 1953 and attended Draugh’s Business College. She was a member of First Christian Church, Christian Women’s Fellowship and Home Circle Quilting Club.
She married Glen Albert Waugh Dec. 31, 1964, in Muskogee.
Surviving are her husband, Glen; two sons, Tommy Gene Waugh of Brookline, Maine, and Brian Stewart Waugh of Allen, Texas; his mother, Elizabeth “Ellen” Murry of Muskogee; one sister, Dorothy “Faye” Clark of Muskogee; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother one sister.

WILLIE MAE WISE

She was born March 19, 1925, in Leonard to Albert and Sarah Jeanette Hinson Todd and died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
She attended Drumright schools, graduating from American School.
She married Lee Jacob Wise on Jan. 23, 1936, in Drumright, where they made their home. They moved to Perry in 1951. He died in 1998. She moved to Greenbrier Residential Center and then to Medford Care Center, Medford.
She was a member of Community of Christ Church, Stillwater, serving as a Women’s leader and teacher. She was past president of WCTU in Perry, a 4-H leader, Cub Scout den mother, Cherokee Strip Museum volunteer and was active in Democratic Women’s Group.
Surviving are one son, Wesley Todd Wise of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Patricia Ann Puckett of Tulsa and Neveda Lee Ely of Medford; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Lee, she was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters and five brothers.

HUGH FRANCIS WATT
Mass of Christian burial for Hugh Francis Watt, 86, was held Sept. 23, at Blessed Pope John XXIII Church, Fort Myers, Fla. Arrangements were by Lee Memorial Park, Fort Myers.
He was born in 1943, in Hornell, N.Y., and died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005.
He graduated from Aviation Cadet School in Altus. He trained in Columbus, S.C., and was sent overseas on the Liberty to Oran, North Africa.
He flew 61 missions for the British Royal Air Force in Africa, Italy and India.
He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and an Air Medal.
He returned to Vance Air Force Base in Enid to train pilots and was honorably discharged in 1945.
He married Eleanor Mack. They moved to Hornell, N.Y.
He earned a bachelor of science degree from Buffalo University and was hired by Hoss-Goldsmith in New York City and lived in New Millford, N.J.
He retired after 30 years as vice president of administration of Burlington Industries and they moved to Fort Myers, Fla.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; one daughter, Linda Thomas of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, John of Hornell; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and a sister.

MAYE K. LAMB
Graveside services for Maye K. Lamb, 88, Enid, were Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in the Enid cemetery next to her husband of 64 years. Reverend Kevin Choate will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lamb was born on April 30, 1917 in Hennessey, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert S. and Mary Florence Yeomen Will, and died early Saturday morning, October 1, 2005 at Enid Senior Care Center. She lived in Hennessey until 1924 when her family moved to Enid where she was raised and educated, graduating from Enid High School. On January 21, 1938, she married Lynnville B. Lamb in Enid. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2001.
Mrs. Lamb worked for Ashfal Children’s Clothing, Baby Duds, and Patio Garden Center. She was a longtime member of the Christian Union Chapel of Hennessey and after moving to Enid she attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and later became a member. Maye had many hobbies. Among them her love of gardening, sewing and quilting, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was also “Meme’’ to Julie and her children.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Lynn Rea of Enid and Joyce Jackson of Enid; a brother, George F. Will of Amite, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Roy Spillman, Jr., Bradley T. Rea, Lyndsi Jackson Landwehr and Aaron Jackson; and one great-granddaughter Amanda K. Rea Hataway.

JUDY K. BONNETT
Funeral services for Judy K. Bonnett, 60, will be at noon on October 6, 2005 in Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Private family graveside services will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Judy was born on April 19, 1945 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid to L.D. and Betty Buss Bonnett and died October 3, 2005 in her home in Enid. The family farm and original home was three miles south and one mile west of Hunter. They moved into Hunter when she was two years old. Judy attended all 12 years at Hunter, graduating in 1963. She was active in all activities in school, she was known for her abilities in sports basketball and softball), band, and 4-H projects. After high school, Judy attended N.O.C. in Tonkawa, Oklahoma for two years, then transferred to Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. Judy graduated with a B.S. degree in education. After graduation, she taught school in Putnam City, worked at the state capital, and Oklahoma City summer sports program. In the early 1970’s she moved to Springfield, MO and taught elementary and physical education. She delivered bass and pontoon boats for “Outdoor World’’ in the summers traveling all over the U.S. She sold new and used cars for Chevy and Nissan, earning “Salesman of the Month’’ at one time!
After her mother took ill, she returned to the area, 1990-1991. She then went to work for the state of Oklahoma (NORSE) until 1994. On April 25, 1993, she changed her life totally. She attended the Cherokee Strip Crusade with John Wesley White (a Billy Graham associate evangelist) and gave her life to Christ. On May 10, 1994, Judy was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church. In 2002 she started her full time ministry with Hope Outreach, as a full time counselor and lay minister for “Spring of Living Water.’’ In April 2005, Judy and Maggie Reiger started the “Maggie and Judy Show’’ on Pegasys. Judy was a wonderful sister and aunt. She has been blessed with so many friends and loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Betty; nephew, Michael Shawn Spencer; grandparents, Roscoe and Lottie Bonnett and Roy and Minnie Buss.
Judy is survived by her sisters and husbands, Frances and Allen Spencer, Vicki and Don Calsing all of Enid; her brother, Rick Bonnett of Hunter; three nephews, Reverend Scott Spencer, Dustin and Tyler Bonnett; five nieces, Tammy Lang and husband, Scott, Karissa Brown and husband, Kelly, Stephanie Spencer, Melissa Waltz and husband, Kevin, and Mindy Calsing; six great nephews, Caleb and Cameron Lang, Brinley and Bryson Brown, Chandler and Julian Calsing; two great nieces, Megan Waltz and Kindle Calsing; and many friends.

DONALD E. MAY
Donald E. May, 69, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2005 at his home in OKC. He attended the following schools, Willard, Ada, OK, Columbus, OKC, Jackson Middle School and Capital Hill High School. Don enjoyed a wide variety of activities including breeding and racing thoroughbred horses, building and racing stock cars. He was an avid sport fan and was recently inducted on July 16, 2005 into the Capital Hill Hall of Fame. He was the starting center for the class of 1953 State Championship Football Team. Don also enjoyed many business ventures and was a successful entrepreneur. He proudly served the livestock industry for over 40 years. He was President and a third generation owner of W.H. May Livestock Commission Company, a family cattle business that was established in 1910 at the Oklahoma National Stockyards, OKC. He was President and CEO of W.H. May Oil Royalties, co-owner of Covington Sale Barn and Enid Stockyards with his youngest son Roy Don May. He also owned May Salvage and Wrecker Service, a service station in OKC and was co-owner of Tinhorns Unlimited, Tuttle, OK. He proudly served his country for 8 years in the Air Force Reserves at Tinker Air Force Base while working at Townleys Dairy, OKC. Don was a charter member of Stockyards City(Posse), Oklahoma City Livestock Exchange, Assistant Little League football coach (Fairview Eagles) and a former member of the Moore FFA Booster Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Roy May, brother, Troy May, half brother, Leland “Bud” May, half sisters, Dorothy Dearmore and Irene Goodwin. Survivors include his beloved wife Lois of 41 years, three children, William H. May II, Guthrie, OK, Roy Don May, and wife Gina, Marshall, OK and La Dawn Christopher and husband Chris, Little Elm, TX; sister Janice Pruitt, Norman, OK; 10 grandchildren, Harmony Crane, Joshua May, Melody Crook, Jamie, Jaylene and Harley Adams, Kyllie and Sunnie May, Jace and Semyon Christopher, 3 great grandchildren, Marissa, Destiny and Elijah Crane and several special nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Smith & Kernke Chapel, 14624 N. May Avenue, OKC with burial to follow at Marshall Lions South Cemetery, a half mile west of the Hwy 74 and Hwy 51 intersection. Pallbearers will be members of his high school football team. The family extends thanks to all his friends, co-workers and a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at St. Anthony Hospital and Vista Care Hospice staff, for the loving care and support they provided throughout his illness.
