She was born June 7, 1906, in Haggerman, N.M., to Seaper and Laura Ward Ditmore and died Saturday, July 23, 2005, in Willow Haven Nursing Center, Tonkawa.
She went to school in Texas and Oklahoma. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She worked as a waitress at Mary's Cafe for 20 years. She married Virgle L. Earls June 10, 1922, in Burkburnett, Texas.
Surviving are one son, Billy Earls of Tonkawa; one sister, Dorothy Carr of Tonkawa; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, four brothers and one sister.

RICHARD SCALING JR.
The funeral for Joseph Richard "Rick" Scaling Jr., 57, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Ratterman will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery with full military honors. Arrange-ments are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 6-7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Dalhart, Texas, to Joseph Richard and Mary Elizabeth Erwin Scaling and died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at his home in Enid.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1966, and from Oklahoma State University in 1970. He earned a degree in radio and television. After college, he enlisted in the Air Force and received his pilot's wings at Vance Air Force Base in April 1972. He flew OV-10 aircraft in Vietnam from September 1972-September 1973. He flew 215 sorties over Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia and had 876 combat flying hours. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf Clusters. He was with the 13th Air Force with duty stations in Nakhon Phanom RTAFB and Ubon RTAFB, Thailand. While in Thailand, he was assigned to the 56th Special Operations Wing, which was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation with Valor, and the 23rd TAC Support Squadron, which was awarded the Outstanding Unit Award with Valor. He also received the Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. After Vietnam, he was stationed at Robbins Air Force Base, Ga., as a B-52 co-pilot. He had approximately 3,000 total flying hours, and was senior pilot in the following aircraft: T-41, T-37, T-38, OV-10, and B-52. He has been a T-37 simulator instructor at Vance Air Force Base since 1991.
Surviving are his fiancee, Gloria Lynn of the home; two children, Malayna Marie Scaling of Yukon and Skylar Christopher Scaling of Stillwater; one sister, Ann Scaling Tucker of Enid; and one goddaughter, Cari Wasson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

ROGER WAYNE KNOTT

He was born Feb. 28, 1955, in Perry to Tom Logan and Mary Olga Masters Knott and died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
He was a 1973 graduate of Billings High School and a 1979 graduate of Northern Okla-homa College at Tonakwa. On May 24, 1980, he married Valerie Sue Horn in Billings. He was a life-long resident of Noble County. He was a 30-year employee of Rush Metals/Cloyes Gear in Billings and for the past several years had served as plant manager. He was a member of Antelope Valley Church of Billings.
Surviving are his wife, Valerie, of the home; one son, Micheal Wayne Knott of Stillwater; two daughters, Heather Renee Frable of Perry and Alicia Denee Malget of Billings; one brother, Tom Logan Knott of Norman; and one sister, Carolyn Buchanan of Wakita.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

GERALDINE FELTS BIDDY
No services are planned for Geraldine Felts Biddy, 90, of Perry. She was born June 12, 1915, in Marietta to Thomas D. and Laura Ella Grant Felts and died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Green Valley Nursing Home, Perry.
She earned her bachelor's degree in education and was an English teacher until she retired. She married Roe Andrew Biddy on April 11, 1947. Together, they were officers of Green Country Square Dancers, and she belonged to a number of bridge clubs. She lived in Grove before moving to Perry one year ago. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Rita Richards of New Baltimore, Mich.; one niece; four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband in January 1997, five sisters and one brother.

She was born Oct. 14, 1927, in Lima, Ohio, to Vincenzo Jim and Frances Cecilia Griffin Lombardo and died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at her daughter's home in Enid.
She grew up in Lima, attending schools there. She married Thomas L. Battles in Lima in 1947. She later married Harry S. Katz in 1953, and they resided in Chicago. She worked in various jobs, including quality control inspector and human relations director. After her retirement, she was social event coordinator at the senior citizens home in Bensonville, Ill. Because of ill health, she moved to Enid in March 2005 to be with her daughter.
Surviving are her daughter, Theresa Ann Newberg of Enid; two sons, Harry James Katz of Naperville, Ill., and James Vincent Katz of Chicago; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Thomas L. Battles and Harry S. Katz, and one sister.

ALMA E. HENDERSON JOLLY

The daughter of Joseph and Bulin Henderson was born Nov. 15, 1915 in Crider, MO, and she passed away on July 22, 2005 after 89 years and 8 months. Three brothers, Clarence, Wesley, Allen, and one sister, Clara, as well as her parents predeceased her.
She graduated from West Plains, MO High School, and after her father's early death, she and her mother moved to Springfield, MO where she attended Draughn's Business College and there met Virgil E. Richard, her late husband. They married June 26th, 1936 and moved to Sand Creek, OK where they continued to live until they moved to Wakita in 1961. Two children, Virgil A. Richard of Austin, TX, and Barbara I. Cink of Wakita, OK were born of this marriage. As a farm wife she helped out in many ways in the operation of the Richard farms until her husband retired in 1983.
Alma served on the local Election Board for several years. She also prepared warm school lunches for the students of Fairview Grade School for a number of years. She was a member of the Fairview and Wakita Christian Churches, where she taught Sunday School classes for many years. She also belonged to the Woman's Christian Fellowship of each church as well as "The Grange" as long as it existed. She enjoyed traveling and gardening as long as she was able to do so. Despite losing her eyesight in her last years, she remained cheerful and participated in many of the activities of the retirement home.
After the death of her husband Virgil in May 1985, she moved to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and met Mr. Willis Jolly. They were later married and moved to El Paso, TX where they lived until August 2002 when they moved to the Community Health Center Apartments of Wakita, OK to live. After the death of Mr. Jolly in January 2003, she moved to an apartment at the Country Life Retirement Assisted Living Home in Anthony, KS in May 2003 and then returned to the Wakita Community Health Center Nursing Facility in June 2005.
Surviving are her son, BG Virgil A. Richard, USA (Ret.), her daughter, Barbara I. and husband, Lloyd J.R. Cink, along with five grandchildren: Ashley Cink, Bradley Cink, Phillip Richard, Michael Richard and Trace Richard and nine great grandchildren: Rachel, Rylie, and Gabriel Richard, Angela Halsey, Joey Richard; Lindsay, Benjamin, Jake and Elisa Cink.

REUBEN KARBER
Funeral services for Reuben Karber 92 of Enid formerly of Balko will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Rev. Byron Neufeld officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Balko Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, in Balko, Oklahoma under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Reuben was born on April 6, 1913 to Henry H. and Frena Penner Karber in Fairview, Oklahoma. He departed this life late Friday night at the Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma.
Reuben attended and graduated, from the Bethany High School west of Balko, Oklahoma. On May 11, 1941 he was united in marriage to Agnes Sawatzky. To this union they had two children Kevin and Lionel. They raised their children on the family farm in Balko, Oklahoma. Reuben was a farmer all his life, he enjoyed working with both of his boys on the farm. Agnes and Reuben spent their summers in Balko and the winters in Enid. In 1997 he somewhat retired from farming where they spent more of their time in Enid.
Reuben is survived by his wife Agnes, one son Lionel Karber and wife Debbie of Corpus Christi, Texas and three grandchildren Jeremy, Aaron and Latisha Karber.
He was preceded in death by his son Kevin and his parents.
