ENID, Okla. —
Funeral service for Theron “Dee” Kitchen, 80, of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rajesh Mankena officiating. Burial will follow in Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Dee was born July 5, 1932, on the Kitchen Farm, southeast of Thomas, Okla., to Theron Ray and Delora Oneta (Ewing) Kitchen and passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in Oklahoma City.
Dee grew up in Hydro and Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School.
He served in the United States Army.
After his discharge he moved to Enid, where he owned and operator of a trucking company. He also worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in the maintenance department for 18 years.
On Feb. 4, 1977, he married Genevia May in Enid. After Dee retired he enjoyed raising cattle and sheep.
Dee is survived by his wife, Genevia of the home; his children, Theron Dee Kitchen Jr. (Theresa) of Washington, Okla., James Lee Kitchen (Hazel) of Kingfisher, Arlene Unruh (Ray) of Enid, Dade Maloney (Jun) of Enid, Rex Allen Maloney (Anna) of Ponca City, and Tammie Joan Page (Bobby) of Purcell; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Don Kitchen (Pat) of Vinta, and Frank Kitchen (Jan) of Skiatook; and one sister, Pauline Hutchins of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Lynn; and brother, Wayne.

Teresa "Terry" Rae Bennett
Teresa “Terry” Rae Bennett, 55, was the daughter of Elvin and Darla June Horne Zeman. She was born Sept. 27, 1957, in Enid and was baptized April 13, 1958, at United Methodist Church, Medford. She went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, while at her home.
She graduated from Medford High School in 1975. After graduation, she worked various jobs in her younger years.
She married Steve Bennett Oct. 17, 1990. They settled and made their home in Medford.
Teresa worked 10-plus years for the Grant County Health Department as a health care giver.
In 2007, she became a homemaker, helping her husband with the family farm and business. Teresa enjoyed shopping with her mother, gardening, making crafts, fishing, traveling, watching car and horse races, going to the farm to see her cats and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed her time with friends and living life to the fullest. -
John William Taylor
Funeral service for John William Taylor, 85, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. today, June 20, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Mitchell Officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
John was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Enid, and was the only child of William and Nellie Ratcliff Taylor and passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at his home.
After graduating from Enid High School in 1944, at the age of 16, he briefly attended Phillips University.
Shortly thereafter, John enlisted in the Air Force, because of his lifelong love of flying. He served as a staff sergeant in Guam.
Prior to his deployment, he met and started courting his future wife, Sue Hackleman, of Stillwater, after meeting at the swimming pool in Green Mountain Falls, Colo. They married six years later on June 5, 1950, in Stillwater. After being discharged, John attended Oklahoma A&M until he returned to Enid to help run the Enid Publishing Co., where he served as president and owner until 1989. He also was owner of KCRC-KNID radio stations and Enid Two-Way. -
Terry Wayne Cullins

Terry was born March 15, 1959, to Jean and Tip Cullins and died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at his home.
Terry worked as a truck driver, taking long transports all over the country for weeks at a time. -
Jeffrey L. Wiggins

Jeffrey was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Enid, Okla., to Donald and Vada (Valtr) Wiggins and died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.
He married Debbie Readnour April 26, 1975, in Alva. -
Velva Mae Hawk
Funeral for Velva Hawk, 91, of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Velva was born July 6, 1921, in Ames, Okla., to Everett and Julie Brittain and died Monday, June 17, 2013.
Surviving are children, Larry Hawk, Linda Grimm and Gene Hawk; six grandchildren, Craig, Kimber, Deidre, Stacie, Terry and Kevin; sisters, Aileen Crawford and Dorothy Skalenda; and 10 great-grandchildren. -
Zelma Mae Sullivan
Zelma Mae Sullivan went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the age of 92, in Perry, Okla.
