ENID, Okla. —
Estelle Bee Muegge, 97, of Lamont, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid, Okla. Estelle Bee was born July 28, 1915, in Morrill, Kan., to Albert Lee “Bert” and Iva Jewell (Anderson) Cardwell.
Estelle Bee attended schools in Morrill, Kan., Colorado Springs, Colo., Caldwell, Kan., Wichita, Kan., and Lamont, Okla., where she graduated in 1933.
Estelle Bee married George Adolphus Muegge Dec. 1, 1935, in Lamont, Okla., on her grandmother’s homestead. They celebrated 68 years of marriage before he passed away.
Estelle Bee and George lived all their life in Lamont, her being a homemaker and farm wife.
Estelle Bee was an active member of United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 35 years, member of Women’s Society of Christian Services and Farm Bureau Organization, where she served as local and state officer. She was also a member of the Rainbow organization.
Estelle Bee and George went to South Padre Island, Texas, on their honeymoon and then spent many winters there, vacationing. They traveled with their dear friends, the Dodges, for many years. Their extensive travels included Europe and every state in the U.S., including Hawaii.
Estelle Bee is survived by her children, Paul and Nancy Muegge of Tonkawa, Okla., Joe and Dianna Muegge of Bennett, Colo., and Ann and Jack Black of Lamont, Okla.; brother, Elton Lee and Mattie Cardwell of Ponca City, Okla.; grandchildren, Tim Muegge, Jeff and Leslie Muegge, Shawn and Linda Muegge, Amy Muegge, Jana and Doby Webb, Kari and Lonnie Lively, Tanya and James Pinyan, and Penny and Chad Quick; great-grandchildren, Jarett and Kadi Webb, Cooper and Carson Lively, Ryan Muegge, Trista and Cody Pinyan, Ember, and Angel and Cassie Quick; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and two great-grandchildren, Madison and David Muegge.
The family of Estelle Bee will be at the funeral home Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. for a time of visitation. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at United Methodist Church of Lamont, Okla., with Pastor Vera Walton officiating. Interment will follow in Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Okla.
Memorials may be made to Lamont United Methodist Church and Lamont Fire Department.

Floyd 'Ty' Lytle II
A memorial service for Floyd “Ty” Wayne Lytle II, age 53, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Addison (JR) Ools officiating.
Ty was born to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Bess (Spencer) Lytle on May 22, 1960, in North Kansas City, Mo., and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Enid. -
Douglas Lloyd Champlin
Douglas Lloyd Champlin of Gardnerville, Nev., died peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness of cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla., to Joe Noble and Jane Edwards Champlin.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Raether Champlin; daughter, Christa Hampton and husband Cobey of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Claire Woolsey and husband Cole of Reno, Nev., and Cassidy Champlin of the home; six grandchildren; sister, Joanna M. Champlin and husband Shawnee Brittan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends all over the world.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother, H.H. “Bud” Champlin, formerly of Enid, Okla.
As a young boy growing up in Enid, Okla., Doug developed a love for history and the military. He became a collector at a young age of toy soldiers, guns, and just about anything he could get his hands on related to history. -
Harold H. Jantzen
The graveside service for Harold H. Jantzen, 80-year-old Newton, Kan., resident will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2013, in the West New Hopedale cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev James Suderman will officiate.
Harold was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Bessie, Okla., to Henry K. and Frieda (Froese) Jantzen and died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Newton, Kan. After graduating high school he attended Grace Bible Intitute and the Bethel College. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master’s degree. He then earned a specialist’s degree from Emporia College. -
James M. Dillard
Memorial service for James M. Dillard, 61, Pilot Oak, Ky., will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, Mayfield, Ky. Abe Leonard will officiate.
James was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Fairview and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at home.
Surviving are two daughters, Margo (Chris) Kesinger of Tonkawa, and Francine (Sheldon) Wedel of Pilot Oak; one sister, Judy Dillard of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. -

Evie was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Mott, N.D., to Joe and Anna (Mayer) Miller and died May 21, 2013 in Enid.
She is survived by sons, Ivan, Sherlem, and Allan Zimbelman; daughters, Sharon Woods and Shelley Rauh; brothers, Harvey Miller and Dennis Miller; and one grandson, J.R. Zimbelman. -
