ENID — James “Jim” Dean Stewart, 53, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012. He was born Aug. 13, 1959, in Albuquerque, N.M., to William and Clara (Duran) Stewart.

He served in the United States Navy.

He was a Catholic.

Jim was employed with the city of Oklahoma City in the street maintenance department. He enjoyed working with his hands and could accomplish anything he put his mind to. He was an excellent woodworking craftsman and an auto mechanic. He really enjoyed fishing, but the love of his life was spending time with his son, Seth.

Jim had a real love for life and it came out in his relationships with his family and close friends.

He is survived by his son, Seth Stewart of Stillwater, Okla.; his mother, Clara Stewart of Mustang; father, Bill Stewart and wife Glendene of Ringwood, Okla.; brother, Edward Stewart and wife Lisa of Sand Springs, Okla.; sister, Billie Jo Conrady and husband Mark of Enid, Okla.; and brother, Gerard Stewart of Shawnee, Okla.; also by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mustang, Okla. Arrangements are handled by McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Okla.
