ENID —
Sandra Kay Dedrick was born Jan. 8, 1956, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Jerry E. and Donna Ruth (Clark) Buckminster. She departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the age of 57 years.
She was known to her family and friends as “Sandy.” She moved with her family to Lawton, where she began elementary school.
The Buckminster family moved to Enid, where Sandy completed her high school years and furthered her education at Oklahoma State University, and she graduated from Phillips University in Enid with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
She was united in marriage to Darrell Dedrick, May 14, 1981, in Enid. They had one son, Andrew Pierce Dedrick. They continued to make their home in Enid, where Darrell practiced dentistry and Sandy was the dental office manager and dental assistant.
They retired and moved to their farm in rural Dewey County in October 2010. They later opened their dental practice in Seiling.
Sandy was a wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed doing artwork, especially water colors and sketching. She had a special love for children and for animals, and this was apparent in her everyday life. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Seiling.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Dedrick of Seiling; her son, Andrew Dedrick of Edmond; two stepdaughters, Dana Ford and husband Mark of Longmont, Colo., and Angela Quigg and husband Kevin of Tulsa; one stepgranddaughter, Julia Ford; one sister, Cami Hulse and husband Bill of Oklahoma City; one brother, Jerry Buckminster and wife Debra of Enid; and one sister-in-law, Donna Harris of Oklahoma City. She also is survived by several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Paul Hamilton officiating. A private interment will be in Brumfield Cemetery.

Service for Mr. Earl Herman Rivenburg, 82, of Gilmer, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with Pastor Kerry Roy officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, May 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
Mr. Rivenburg passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Wesley Oaks Memory Care Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas, from complications of pneumonia.
He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Peabody, Kan., to Hugh and Elizabeth Rivenburg.
Earl was their fifth and final child, as his mother died shortly after his birth. He was given to a hired hand and his wife to raise and unfortunately, his was not a happy childhood.
At an early age, he set out on his own and was taken in by Emma Seifert as a farmhand in Carrier, Okla., where he graduated from high school in 1948. It was here that he met and married his first wife, who bore his two children. -
Mary Frances Whitfill
Graveside service for Mary Frances Whitfill, 97, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Rev. Suzie Goldt will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mary was born May 27, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo., to William Edward and Mary Etta (Paradise) Major and passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at The Commons in Enid, Okla.
She grew up in Kansas City, Mo., graduating from Central High School in 1932.
She married her high school sweetheart, Elton Whitfill, on June 8, 1935, and celebrated 72 years of marriage before his passing in 2008. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson. -
Scott Swan
Graveside service for Scott Swan, 49, former Seiling resident, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Brumfield Cemetery, near Seiling. Service is directed by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
He died Monday, April 15, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
He worked as a field service engineer for General Electric in Oklahoma City, Enid, and Houston. -

Lisa was born July 9, 1960, in Clinton, Okla., to Thomas Francis Lee and Maymie Limpy and died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Sparks Hospital, Fort Smith, Ark.
Lisa graduated from high school in Eufaula, Okla. She was a homemaker for her family. -
