ENID — Memorial service for Ruby Beach Ferrell, 86, of Longdale, will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Longdale First Baptist Church with Chaplain Randy Weaver officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Flowers may be delivered to the family home.

Ruby was born to John Henry and Rusha Arizona (Smith) Marler on April 18, 1925, in Poteau, Mo., and died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at her home in Longdale.  

Ruby grew up in Horseshoe Bend, Ark.

On June 6, 1959, she married Louis “Rusty” Ferrell in Woodward.

Ruby was a member of Longdale First Baptist Church.

She is survived by husband, Rusty; children, Karen Bowser of Natrona Heights, Penn., Terry Roedell of Mooreland, and Ginger Riveria of Gainesville, Fla.; grandchildren, Christy Bingham, Christopher Cosgrave, Gipsy Plis, Tracy Miller, Tonya Roedell, Vance Bouquet, Lee and Ryan Ferrell; great-granddaughter, Amanda Bigham;  great-great-grandchild, Eryn Niles; three brothers, Truman and Clifton Marler of California, and John Marler of Arkansas.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two brothers and one sister.
