ENID, Okla. — The mass of Christian burial for Eileen E. Callahan Guthrie, 75 year-old Enid resident, will be Friday, January 4, 2012 at noon in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Rajesh Mankenna will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Eileen was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Enid to Emmett and Helen (McCreedy) Callahan and died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at her home. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Schools and graduated from Memorial High School.

She then attended Enid Business College. On Feb. 8, 1960, she married Paul Guthrie in St. Francis Catholic Church. She worked at Vance Air Force Base with Northrop as a purchasing agent and in supplies for 31 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed working in her garden, game shows and working word puzzles.

She is survived by three children, Linda Wipf and husband, Pete, Neil Guthrie and wife, Mindy, and Brian Guthrie; four grandchildren, Natasha Gregory and significant other, Bill White, Isaac Wipf and wife, Macey, and Jake Wipf, and Clayton Guthrie; one great-granddaughter, Leah Marie; one sister, Mary Margaret Klem, and her close friend, Debra Eden.

She was preceded by her husband Paul in 2009, daughter, Carol Gregory in 2012, and one sister, Jean Johnson.

Floyd 'Ty' Lytle II
A memorial service for Floyd “Ty” Wayne Lytle II, age 53, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Addison (JR) Ools officiating.
Ty was born to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Bess (Spencer) Lytle on May 22, 1960, in North Kansas City, Mo., and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Enid.

Douglas Lloyd Champlin
Douglas Lloyd Champlin of Gardnerville, Nev., died peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness of cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla., to Joe Noble and Jane Edwards Champlin.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Raether Champlin; daughter, Christa Hampton and husband Cobey of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Claire Woolsey and husband Cole of Reno, Nev., and Cassidy Champlin of the home; six grandchildren; sister, Joanna M. Champlin and husband Shawnee Brittan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends all over the world.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother, H.H. “Bud” Champlin, formerly of Enid, Okla.
As a young boy growing up in Enid, Okla., Doug developed a love for history and the military. He became a collector at a young age of toy soldiers, guns, and just about anything he could get his hands on related to history.

Harold was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Bessie, Okla., to Henry K. and Frieda (Froese) Jantzen and died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Newton, Kan. After graduating high school he attended Grace Bible Intitute and the Bethel College. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master’s degree. He then earned a specialist’s degree from Emporia College.

Memorial service for James M. Dillard, 61, Pilot Oak, Ky., will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, Mayfield, Ky. Abe Leonard will officiate.
James was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Fairview and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at home.
Surviving are two daughters, Margo (Chris) Kesinger of Tonkawa, and Francine (Sheldon) Wedel of Pilot Oak; one sister, Judy Dillard of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Evie was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Mott, N.D., to Joe and Anna (Mayer) Miller and died May 21, 2013 in Enid.
She is survived by sons, Ivan, Sherlem, and Allan Zimbelman; daughters, Sharon Woods and Shelley Rauh; brothers, Harvey Miller and Dennis Miller; and one grandson, J.R. Zimbelman.
