ENID, Okla. —
David E. Hatfield was born Jan. 2, 1948, in Enid to Leo and Lois (Hildabrand) Hatfield and passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Enid at the age of 64.
He graduated in 1966 from Enid High School. Shortly thereafter, he entered the Marine Corps, where he proudly served in Vietnam. In 1970, he was honorably discharged.
On Dec. 31, 1968, he married Linda Martin, and together they had one son, David.
He worked as a builder in Tulsa then made his way back to Enid before moving to Garber in 1974.
David retired from the construction business in 2009. He then took a job as a carrier for the Enid News and Eagle, which he was still doing at the time of his death.
David enjoyed working outside and being with his family. He was a member of Enid VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and sister-in-law.
David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda of the home; son, David and wife Tifiny of Garber; two grandchildren, Rylie and Carson; two stepgrandchildren, Lexy and Korree; two sisters, Karon Cannon of Taylor, S.C., and Leona Kelly of Memphis, Tenn.; mother-in-law, Faye Martin of Anadarko; four brothers-in-law, Leroy Martin of Florida, Jack Martin of Carrier, Donnie Martin of Anadarko and Dennis Martin of Weatherford; one very special niece, Amy Villegas of Enid; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At David’s request, he was cremated and there will be no service. There is a guest book available for friends to sign at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of one’s choice through the funeral home.

Marlene Elaine Davis
Graveside service for Mrs. Marlene Elaine Davis, 79, of Lahoma, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Lahoma, with Pastor Eric Brown officiating under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.
She was born in Lahoma on Nov. 12, 1933, to Gilbert and Elna (Holz) Moehle and passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Enid.
As a child, Marlene was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma.
After completing the Lutheran school, Marlene graduated from Lahoma High School and attended nursing school at Bass Hospital in Enid.
She married Donald Davis. -

Thomas was born March 17, 1942, in Muldrow, Okla., to James and Nezzie Carter Owens and died Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Enid.
Surviving are son, Thomas Owens Jr. of Enid; daughters, Carole Ford of Red Bluff, Calif., Kristi Patricio of Sonora, Calif., and Irene Owens of Shawnee; seven grandchildren; and his siblings. -
Mary (Ball) Boren
Funeral service for Mary Boren, 56, formerly of Waynoka, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Elm Grove Community Church, with Pastor Orville White officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, directed by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.
She died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Midwest City Regional Hospital. -

Surviving are children, Becky Butler, Ben Brandt Jr., Beverly Graham and Beth Pershall; brothers, Jewett Scott Jr.; sisters, Judy Smith and Jill Talley; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. -
Charlie Lee Leedom Porter
Funeral for Charlie Porter, 85, of Fay, Okla., will be 10 a.m. today, May 21, 2013, at the Methodist Church in Fay. Burial in Liberty Cemetery, Fay. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.
Charlie was born Dec. 26, 1927, near Hinton, Okla., to A.W. and Edna Hamilton Leedom and died Friday, May 17, 2013.
She married John Henry Porter in March 1948.
