ENID — The funeral for Edna Viola Grund Rauh, 101, of Canton, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at United Methodist Church, Canton. The Revs. Alvin “Dale” Rauh Jr. and Nathan Twyman will officiate. Burial will be in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
She was born May 22, 1908, in Adams, Neb., to Earnest Ralph and Ida Mae Varner Grund and died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in Okeene.
She moved to Beatrice, Neb., in 1911 with her family and then to Arkansas City, Kan. They left Arkansas City in 1912 for Oakwood.
She married William “Bill” Rauh Feb. 9, 1927, in Kingfisher. They made their home on a farm west of Canton, where they farmed and ranched. He died in 1957.
Surviving are three sisters, Velma Neal, Verna Coffey and Elda Coffey, all of Arkansas City.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
