ENID, Okla. —
Lesly Ernest Wehrenberg, 90, lifelong resident of Loyal, Okla., passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, in Kingfisher, Okla. Some knew him as “Leck.”
Lesly was born Feb. 7, 1923, on the farm of Minnie and William Wehrenberg, northeast of Loyal. He was the youngest of nine children.
He was a 1936 eighth grade graduate of Prairie Star Country School.
He married Lena Pope July 14, 1941, at the Christian Church in Chickasha, Okla. He farmed his entire life and was very proud of his chosen vocation.
He was a faithful member of Loyal Evangelical Church, where he served in several capasities.
He served on the school board at Loyal High School, Venable Cemetery Board, Sooner Co-op Board, Lomega Lions Club and Loyal Fire Department.
Lesly is survived by daughters, Karen Littlefield and husband Jeff and their family, and Cheryl Glazier and husband Tom and their family; daughter-in-Law, Janet Wehrenberg and family; and son, Edward Wehrenberg and wife Susie and their family.
Lesly was the last of his generation and was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie (Nuggats) and William Wehrenberg, six brothers, three sisters, an infant daughter, one son, Phil, and his wife of 71 years, Lena (Pope) Wehrenberg, who preceded him in death Jan. 15, 2013.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Loyal Evangelical Church, Loyal, Okla., with the Rev. Leon Seaton officiating. Burial will follow in Venable Cemetery, northwest of Loyal. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.
Memorials may be made to Venable Cemetery; Loyal Evangelical Church Memorial Fund; or Lomega Lions Club, all in care of 6303 E. 690 Rd. Loyal, OK 73756; or Russell-Murray Hospice, 202 N. Main, Kingfisher, OK 73750 or charity of own choice.

Floyd 'Ty' Lytle II
A memorial service for Floyd “Ty” Wayne Lytle II, age 53, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Addison (JR) Ools officiating.
Ty was born to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Bess (Spencer) Lytle on May 22, 1960, in North Kansas City, Mo., and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Enid. -
Douglas Lloyd Champlin
Douglas Lloyd Champlin of Gardnerville, Nev., died peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz., after a brief illness of cancer. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Enid, Okla., to Joe Noble and Jane Edwards Champlin.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Raether Champlin; daughter, Christa Hampton and husband Cobey of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Claire Woolsey and husband Cole of Reno, Nev., and Cassidy Champlin of the home; six grandchildren; sister, Joanna M. Champlin and husband Shawnee Brittan of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends all over the world.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother, H.H. “Bud” Champlin, formerly of Enid, Okla.
As a young boy growing up in Enid, Okla., Doug developed a love for history and the military. He became a collector at a young age of toy soldiers, guns, and just about anything he could get his hands on related to history. -
Harold H. Jantzen
The graveside service for Harold H. Jantzen, 80-year-old Newton, Kan., resident will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2013, in the West New Hopedale cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev James Suderman will officiate.
Harold was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Bessie, Okla., to Henry K. and Frieda (Froese) Jantzen and died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Newton, Kan. After graduating high school he attended Grace Bible Intitute and the Bethel College. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his master’s degree. He then earned a specialist’s degree from Emporia College. -
James M. Dillard
Memorial service for James M. Dillard, 61, Pilot Oak, Ky., will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home Chapel, Mayfield, Ky. Abe Leonard will officiate.
James was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Fairview and died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at home.
Surviving are two daughters, Margo (Chris) Kesinger of Tonkawa, and Francine (Sheldon) Wedel of Pilot Oak; one sister, Judy Dillard of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. -

Evie was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Mott, N.D., to Joe and Anna (Mayer) Miller and died May 21, 2013 in Enid.
She is survived by sons, Ivan, Sherlem, and Allan Zimbelman; daughters, Sharon Woods and Shelley Rauh; brothers, Harvey Miller and Dennis Miller; and one grandson, J.R. Zimbelman. -
