ENID, Okla. —
OKEENE — Funeral for William Helmer, 78, was held Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Barstow.
A graveside service, near the family farm, will be 2 p.m. in Peaceful Cemetery, south of Okeene, on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.
William was born Jan. 5, 1934, in Clovis, N.M., and died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at his home in Barstow, Calif., where he had lived for 57 years.
He owned and operated William J. Helmer General Engineering for 51 years.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Joyce; children, Keith and Kenneth; grandchildren, James, Jessica and Kayla; and great-granddaughter, Olivia.
