ENID — The funeral for Walter Gottschalk, 96, of Perry, will be 10 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Perry. Aaron Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1913, in Perry to Ernst and Linda Swartz Gottschalk and died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
He married Clara Heppler April 25, 1936, in Perry.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and taught Sunday school.
Surviving are his wife, Clara, of the home; one son, Donald L. Gottschalk of Wheatland, Mo.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
