HENNESSEY — The funeral for Andrew John “Andy” Ritz, 44, of Hennessey, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Hennessey. Don Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 1, 1966, in Okeene to Lewis A. “Jack” and Johnnie B. Alexander Ritz and died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City.
He was a 1984 graduate of Hennessey High School. He studied electronics at Autry Tech and earned his associates degree from Northern Oklahoma College in 2001. He worked for Dialysis Center of Enid. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hennessey.
Surviving are his parents, Jack and Johnnie Ritz; three brothers, Mike Ritz, Tim Ritz and Perry Ritz, all of Hennessey; and one sister, Trena Shields of Stillwater.
Memorials may be made though the funeral home to American Diabetes Association.
