Great Plains Cooperative
reschedules annual meeting
Great Plains Cooperative of Lahoma has rescheduled its annual meeting for 1:30 p.m. March 13 at Northwest Livestock Sale Barn, west of Enid on U.S. 412.
There will be no meal, just a brief meeting to elect two directors and vote on distribution of patronage checks.
Pancake and sausage supper
and auction slated for March 16
The annual Pancake and sausage supper and auction will be held at the Chisholm Middle School Cafeteria, located at the intersection of Carrier Road and North Oakwood March 16.
This event is being sponsored by the North Enid Lions Club, and funds raised from this event are used to help the less fortunate in the community by furnishing eyeglasses, free blood glucose screening, student scholarships and other projects and needs.
Lippard Auctioneers will provide their services to auction off items donated by local merchants and friends of the community.
This year there will be handmade quilts available along with other valuable items.
All-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage will be served 5-7 p.m., and the auction will begin at 6 p.m.
There is plenty of parking and the site is handicapped accessible.
Cost of the meal is a free will donation to the project. Call 234-8485 for further information.
